In the peak of the fall farm season, M&L tied the knot on the bride’s family farm. Transforming the greenhouse, farm stand and fields for their celebration, the couple did DIY with luxury. This elegant farm wedding allowed guests to enjoy the best of the New England fall season- a ceremony in a corn field, cocktail hour with a donkey serving beer, and a night of dining under the expansive greenhouse roof.
E Cecchi Farms is a family operation with a beautiful farm stand stocked with the goods of their harvest. A local favorite, the farm has grown a variety of veggies and flowers since 1924. The bride wanted to incorporate all the elements of her family’s history on the land with the luxuries of a chic, modern wedding.
Guests started their wedding experience by walking through the towering maze of corn leading to the ceremony site, in the middle of the field. The couple held their elegant farm wedding surrounded by corn stalks reaching for the sky. They even had a flower grandma gracing the aisle with flowers before the bride made her way through the corn to the alter.
As the sun set over the field, the guests celebrated at cocktail hour served by- a donkey. Wearing a saddle equipped with multiple refreshment options, the donkey meandered from person to person, letting guests snap a selfie and grab a beer. It was such a cool, one-of-a-kind experience.
The biggest luxury DIY transformation for this elegant farm wedding was the greenhouse. With the addition of lighting, beautiful table design and giant ferns filling the rafters, the space became a glowing wonderland. Guests dined under the magic of the greenhouse and danced to the music of a live band. From start to finish, this luxury farm wedding redefined DIY and allowed family history, farming, and elegance all mingle together for a magical evening.
