Weddings
That feeling is so normal. We use a technique of prompting rather than posing that will help draw you out of your shell and get you interacting together. We focus on the scene around you, the big views, the small details, so it's not always focused on you. Usually by the end of a shoot, people are shocked at how easy it felt.
what if we're awkward in front of the camera?
This ranges widely depending on how active your day is, but typically you can expect 50-100 final edited photos per hour of coverage. We upload them in high-resolution print quality on a digital gallery that you can view, download and share. Anyone with the link can do the same. You'll also be able to see what the pics look like in things like albums and frames for printing.
how many photos will we get?
We bring multiple Canon digital cameras, lenses, flashes, and backup cameras in the car, just in case of emergency. We're prepared for all weather and activities.
Our film toolbox is full of fun toys. We mix 120 and 35mm film on the Pentax 645n, Canon EOS3, our girl Holga, and several vintage point-and-shoots,
What do you shoot with?
We recommend booking wedding photography 10-12 months in advance to ensure your date of choice is available. For couple sessions, at least 4 months out from the date of the shoot. It's still worth contacting us if you're not in that timeframe. If we're a match, we'd love to make it work.
How far in advance should we book?
We can do as much traditional stuff as you want! We know how important those photos are for loved ones, and we'll work with you to make a list that we can use to get them captured on the big day. And we'll still snap as many candids as possible throughout the process.

Let's do this! Start by filling out our contact form, and we'll respond asap. We'll setup a call to learn all about you and your plans. When you sign the contract and pay your deposit, it'll be official. We'll setup an engagement shoot so we can all hang out before the big day. Then 2-3 months before the wedding we'll have a longer call to go over the day-of plan.
what does the process to book look like?
We offer an associate option for dates that we are booked out for couples who love our approach and style. We have two trusted professionals who shoot on our behalf that have years of experience under their belt and are trained in our style. We handle all the backend meetings and editing of your images, so you are ensured the Magic Arrow experience and aesthetic.
