Acadia National Park Anniversary
Adventure Session
On the eastern coast of Maine sits Acadia National Park where towering green pines root down into rocky cliffs laced by indigo waters. The park is loved by hikers and ocean lovers alike, featuring the best of both worlds for a day of adventuring. It’s here that we met Claire and Alex to celebrate their second anniversary by capturing some shots during sunset.
As New England wedding photographers, we love to travel. This park might be our new favorite destination for an adventure session or elopement. Whether you’re looking for a sunrise on a mountain top or a sunset on the coast, Acadia has it all.
This 4th of July weekend, Claire and Alex planned their vacation in Bar Harbor and met up with us in the park at sunset. Just a short drive into the gates and we were already in a wonderland. We spent the early evening hanging out on the cliffs and then headed down to the cove for sunset.
Holiday fireworks had been cancelled in most areas across America this year, but we were lucky to have the deepest pink and purple skies at dusk. An evening of hiking around, hanging by the water, drinking beers and watching the sunset do its thing- that’s an adventure session we can get down with. We can’t wait to capture another engagement session or intimate elopement at Acadia National Park.
This duo ended the night with a tapered candle lit dinner and drinks by the outdoor bar cart. It was cozy, romantic and full of their personality.
Now start day dreaming about how you can make lemonade out of those lemons. We got your back if you need a hand. No matter what you end up doing, your love will never be cancelled.
